Getting There

Rail and Road

The region is easily accessible with good road links from all the channel ports and the A10 Paris-Bordeaux autoroute passes by Poitiers. There's also the excellent TGV or "Train Grande Vitesse". The TGV will rush you from Paris to Poitiers in just 90 minutes. If you prefer to bring your own car and avoid the ferry you can connect straight onto the Euro Tunnel.

Sea

A number of ferry operators offer several routes to France, any number of which would be suitable for the drive on to Belabre. Prices vary considerably however, you are well advised to shop around. We have added the Ferrysavers link to aid your selection.

Flights

Air travel is particularly good value, with Ryanair offering flights to Limoges or Poitiers from as little as £19 per person.

Car Hire
